Marc Beaumont re-signs for GT

The UK's Marc Beaumont has re-signed to ride for the GT factory team in the 2011/12 season. Following a great season for Marc, culminating in his win at round 5 of the UCI DH World Cup in Val Di Sole, Italy. Marc has re-signed for GT for 2011. Marc, currently in Brazil riding in the RedBull Downtown race in Santos, said "I am so happy to be riding for GT bicycles again and also continuing my long relationship with Fox clothing . I am hoping to build on my success in 2010 and we will see where that gets me! I'll be competing in the BDS series and the UCI World cup Series. It'll be great fun and I’m very excited for the coming season." Marc's stellar 2010 left him finishing 5th in the overall World Cup standings in a year where there were some particularly strong athletes competing. Ever the professional, 26 year old Marc has a strict training regime both on the bike and in the gym and will be hoping to carry through the form he's shown in 2010 to the new season. On a familiar bike and with the GT teams support we're sure he'll continue improving, 1, 2, 3 and 4 had better watch out!
