Cycle Show Highlights - Trek and Hope Tech

Yesterday MoreDirt took a trip to the Cycle Show in Birmingham. Check out some of the highlights and hidden gems from the show. Next up its Trek and Hope Tech.

Trek had the world cup winning Carbon Session 9.9 on show at their stand in all its glory!

You can see why it carried Aaron Gwin to the World Cup title this year. It had some great bit of detail with internal cabling and smooth curves. Its a fast looking bike!

Trek had the Slash 9 their All Mountain/Enduro trail bike in a cool looking chrome with a no expense spared spec!

Trek had the "Lush" on show their women's specific trail bike.

Hope Tech always bring some fresh new parts to the cycle shows around the world and here was no exception. Check out the chainring with a built in bashguard on the outside with chain device to match.  It will be coming to market very soon...

We spotted a set of prototype cranks on one of the Hope team bikes at the show. When we asked for some details we were simply told ... "Yes they exist and don't expect to see them anytime soon. They are atleast a year away." They can't come soon enough!

Hope have developed some jockey wheels in the usual colour pallet they are famous for. Perfect for adding an extra bit of bling to your bike!

Hope also had their long awaited take on the pedal on show and yet again, its available in all the usual colours!

The level of detail on the machining of these pedals is something to behold, its no suprise Hope take so long to develop new products!  but when they look as good as these we don't mind!
