Name - Al Bond
Bike - Nukeproof Snap
Sponsors - Chain Reaction Cycles, Nukeproof, Sram, Marzocchi, Mavic, Schwalbe, Cane Creek, Vans Shoes, Troy Lee Designs Helmets, Royal Race Gear and 100% Goggles.
Describe your riding style in three words - Loose, On Edge
What's your favourite bit of kit on your bike?
I like all of it but the Nukeproof snap frame is pretty tidy, so thats probably my favourite bit.
Do you have any prototype parts or stuff the public can't get hold of on your bike?
Its all pretty standard really, nothing to fancy. Tonight I'm running singlespeed but with a backwards gear cable through the rear mech as I have no shifter but thats not really proto!
How would you describe the set up of your bike?
The bikes pretty much straight from the pump track and dirt jumps. I'm running one brake and really hard tyres so I guess you could describe it as fairly firm!
What have been your best results so far this year?
None really! I got a couple of podiums at the BDS rounds but not the results I would have really liked.
What part makes the biggest difference on your bike?
Its gotta be the handlebars. They have to be the right angle and sweep and in the right place otherwise I just can't ride the bike.
