New uplift service to open in North Wales
Two black grade Downhill tracks on the stunning Llyn Peninsula in North Wales open for uplift service next month in a partnership between Antur Stiniog and Nant Gwrtheyrn.
A recent announcement via their new Facebook page, Antur Stiniog Nant Gwrtheyrn Uplift Service have this to say…
The Team behind the World famous Antur Stiniog site are proud to announce a partnership with Nant Gwrtheyrn to provide uplifts on their 2 black graded Dh tracks on the stunning Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales.
The first uplift weekend will be on the 19th and 20th of November and booking details will follow soon.
The uplift will use the same 17 seat minibuses and trailers that are used at Antur and the uplift here is just as quick a turnaround as on the Ffestiniog site so plenty of quality riding time is guaranteed.
The site has two quality trails with the original National track that was used for a Bds in 2011 now joined by an easier track that is so much fun. A huge thanks must go to Si Ward from Simply Downhill who created it and did such a quality job.
The site also has accommodation, a great Cafe, and a beach......yes I did say beach! as well as having one of the best views at any venue I have seen.
Some photos are attached to wet your appetite and as you can see the trails are all natural wooded sections and will be the venue for the first British Downhill Series race in early Aprill next year.
