Bikepark Wales opens new blue plus trail!

Exciting news for Bikepark Wales fans as they have just officially opened their latest blue plus graded trail ‘Popty Ping’.

The time has come to finally let the cat out of the bag. Our new blue plus trail 'Popty Ping' is officially open!

The key objective at the heart of this build was to develop a trail that delivers flow and pop and ultimately gets every rider grinning from ear to ear. To help us reach this goal we employed a tried and tested trail building formula, Dirt + Man Hours ÷ The Welsh Weather = Awesome Trails!

Work started on Popty Ping at the end of last year. It's been a hard few months for the Back on Track & BPW trail crew guys, with the Welsh weather serving up sub-zero temperatures, snow and a generous helping of rain!

After 320 tonnes of surfacing and some 500 man hours the finished article is now ready to be enjoyed!

Popty Ping is our first 'Blue Plus Trail'. We have more info on our new trail grading system coming soon!

From all of us at BikePark Wales we hope you enjoy the new trail and we'll see you at the park soon!
