New Mountain Bike Park opening this weekend near Dublin
Almost a year in the making Glencullen Adventure Park (The GAP) bikepark located just 15 minutes from Dublin is set to open this weekend with 12 gravity trails ranging from blue to black grades.
Rowan Sorrell and the Back on Track trail building team who are reponsible for the trails built at Gawton Gravity Hub, BikePark Wales and plenty of other stuff around the UK have been busy for the past 8 months developing 12 graded trails including a couple of pro lines.
The bikepark is split into two zones which are both accessed by the one uplift drop-off point. The first zone has smooth, flowy trails (Blue, Red, dual slalom and some Red and Black graded jump trails). The second zone contains more technical trails with a mix of steeper and rocky red and back graded trails with a more natural feel to them.
There is already car parking, bike hire and uplift all in place and running ready for the opening weekend with a café to open soon.
