New downhill track planned for Cwm Carn
It's been a tough couple of years for the Cwmdown Uplift service, but the future is certainly looking brighter with a new downhill track opening soon along with the addition of midweek uplifts dates now available.
MID WEEK UPLIFTS...
We have been regular users of the Cwm Carn uplift service over the years and it's great to see to the weekend uplifts getting busier again. Based on this they have now added some midweek dates for the uplift through October up to Christmas. Plus you can now request additional dates if you have at least 5 riders, so just drop them a email and we'll open up an extra day for you.
NEW TRAILS PLANNED...
At long last Natural Resources Wales have given the go-ahead to reinstate the old Dragon downhill track from a few years ago. This was a steeper, technical and more natural track than the current offerings at Cwm Carn. Digging is planned to start this week and have it ready in a few weeks time! There are also plans to build some new sections of trail around the park for Enduro lovers in the new year and with a shorter uplift route you will back at the top of the hill in no time!
Cwm Carn is great winter venue with lots riders believing in actually provides more grip in the wet! So if you're fed up of riding muddy trails, then Cwmcarn should be top of your list this winter, as it's probably one of the best places to ride in the wet.
