ESO acquires the Scottish Enduro Series
The Enduro Sports Organisation (ESO), owners and operators of the Enduro World Series, is proud to announce the acquisition of the Scottish Enduro Series from No Fuss Events.
The Scottish Enduro Series has been at the forefront of the sport since it started in 2014, and now enters a new era as its co-founder Frazer Coupland joins ESO to help deliver a reimagined series.
The series will kick off next Spring, with a new annual flagship event that will take place at the Nevis Range in the last weekend of April. The events will benefit from the expanding staff team behind the Enduro World Series who bring with them a wealth of experience from their eight years of international race organisation at the highest level.
Full details will be released in November, but racers are assured of a big day out to kick start the season.
Chris Ball, Managing Director of the Enduro World Series, said: “Scottish Enduro Series founders Frazer and Spook have built something truly special and we’re incredibly proud to be building on that legacy.
“We’re delighted to develop a new era for enduro in the UK and deliver the exceptional racing experience we’re known for. We can’t wait to share the details of what we have planned with riders and look forward to welcoming them to our events next year.”
Frazer added: “When Spook and I started to think about organising a mountain bike race in 2004 that would bring people to Fort William, it was about getting like minded people together to have a good time. We hope people agree that we have exceeded those ambitions and helped foster a genuine race community.
“I’m delighted to be joining ESO to help forge a new era in enduro racing and drive the sport forward, all while maintaining the fun and relaxed events we’re known for.
ESO will honour all 2020 Scottish Enduro Series entries – to claim your entry or keep up to date with all of our Scottish Enduro Series click here.
