Seriously sweet ride. Orange are totally bomb proof. Wouldn't ride anything else nowadays.

That's one big ass rotor you've got on the front and possibly the most extensive spec list I've seen on here. Can't go far wrong with Oranges but I prefer their hardtails. Still, nice bike and looks like you get a lot of fun out of it.

Here is my Orange Patriot.

I bought it used, factory refurbished as just a frame. According to Orange it was originally raw in colour. The previous owner said it had GBR decals but was looking a little rough so it went back to orange for a service/re-Powdercoat in black with a white swing arm.

I built it up using the upgrades from my XC full suspension bike.

Since then I have kept changing parts as better ones turned up mostly using clearance stock and second hand parts.

The reason for 2 rear wheels?

I bought a spare front off ebay thinking it was 26" with a ProII hub but it was a 36h 24" so decided to change the hub to a Hope XC rear and build it in a more unusual 3 leading 3 trailing pattern. This is the first wheel I have built, I only used a spoke key and a 4cross/BSX frame as a truing stand and the wheel is fine.

I do now have a spare pair of 36h 26" MTX 33 snow camo rims. Once I get a 36h Hope ProII hub and a pair of 36h Hope ProII hubs I'll build those up and use them instead. I now like running a 24" rear wheel as I tend to spin everywhere I ride now.

Needs more aggressive tyres as grip is the biggest issue at this time of year.
