Loose surface. Good family ride.
Blue route has berms & small jumps - good fun, not too technical.

Place for a family ride, Blue is still fun to ride though
Review:
Trail centre has good facilities, it is great to see this kind of trail centre in the East Midlands. It can get busy some weekends and bank holidays, the car park was full we went.
Only a blue and green trail are on offer, so more of a family ride than serious riding. Both trails are gravel. The blue trail is nice and flowy at speed, I was getting some small whips off the little jumps there making for a rather fun trail all in all.

Far better than I was expecting

found this by accident, it's only 10 miles from my house, I usually ride cannock. What great fun, some of the best berms I have ridden, fantastic place to improve your skills. The berms are so good because you really have to pedal hard to hit them with speed, so you need to have some fitness. It means you can practice riding berms so that you don't brake and carry speed. Excellent.
The trail is well made and well thought out with some nice rollers, small table jumps and the option of getting some air if that's your thing, if it isn't just enjoy rolling everything.
Nice visitor centre, great kids play area and some mellow family trails, a great intro to anyone in the midlands and a good place to build fitness for those epic road trips to wales etc.. Rating it a 9 cuz it was so much better than I was expecting!

Good fun!

This is an enjoyable trail, the advanced blue route is about 4.25 miles and includes "jumps, bumps and berms" - nothing overly challenging so a good introduction to mountain biking but still good fun for more accomplished riders!

This is a great day out and good for all bikes with off-road tracks, steady gravel tracks and surrounding roads. Highly recommended.
