Really never been sure about the look of the B17's, It's also got a lot of travel for a single pivot bike.
However I am a fan of the understated red/black scheme...

This just looks wicked! i have got a 2000 marin alpine trail. I would do the same to that, but the frame's broken, so i can only use the rear shock and the swing arm if i want to do something out of it! anyway lovely bike mate, check out mine if you want!:)

cheers man nice rate you gave me, pitty you dont have a ful sus to compare it to and try a real pic off your bikes rather then the catalogue.It kind off defeats the point in having a pic in the first place. you prob dont know that it was the first dh frame marin ever made.

Tube may look thin on some bikes, but the most important aspect is the thickness of the tube wall. oversizing Aluminium, helps to reduce wieght as you don't need as much material in the wall

thanks man the frame was given to me so i did what i could with it. still getting use to the bike as nearly finished with the upgrades, what can i say it's a old school bike.

Is that a 2000 frame? It looks like it could be a brand new bike with all the upgraded components. How does it ride?

forgot to say it rides really well for a single pivot, and the new shock has changed the ride alot,still getting use to the bike after building it and the first place i road it was the downhill course at cwm carn and it felt nice.
