Exploring the Pyrenees with Scotty Laughland

Stretching from the Mediterranean Sea all the way to the Atlantic Ocean lies a mountain range renowned for its natural beauty, towering peaks and diverse landscape – the Pyrenees. Reaching heights of more than 3.400 meters above sea level, the 500-km-long rugged and scarcely populated mountain range forms the natural as well as the actual border between Spain and France. And from the unique sunbaked clay formations in the desert-like landscape of Calatayud all the way to Hondarribia in the Basque country where the Pyrenees plunge into the Atlantic Ocean – this is one adventure to remember.

What they aren’t famous for, however, are chairlifts which means you’ve got to earn your turns in big, remote terrain. And that’s where Light E-Bikes come into their own.
