New Tixer Hydraulic Rotor from Trickstuff

A great new product that caused a great deal of interest at the Core Bike Show was The Trixer Hydraulic Rotor, which must be on most dirt jumpers wish list. Here's the details from importers Ison Distribution. Running Hydraulic Brakes and want to spin your bars? Bar spins, tails whips and the like have been common in BMX for many years with their resilient cable brake systems and cable splitters (Gyros). However, such bar spinning tricks have all but been out of reach for MTB riders with Hydraulic Brake systems, due to delicate Hydraulic hoses being easily kinked or damaged and no easy way to split the rear hose to allow unlimited handlebar rotation.... UNTIL NOW that is ! The NEW Trixer from Trickstuff Germany takes the place of a spacer under the conventional stem. The rear Hydraulic hose is fed into the top section and a second hose emerges from the lower section. The 2 sections rotate over each other... and the Hydraulic brake fluid can pass unhindered through the hoses and rotor to provide full braking power whilst the bars are spinning unhindered – and at no risk of damaging the rear hose. So a whole new range of tricks are now possible! The Front hose can be passed through a hollow stem bolt and exits at the base of the fork crown (see Gusset Hole in the Head). 2 types are available – for Mineral Oil or DOT brake fluid (different seals).
