Check out the third part of our essential run down of all the top kit we saw yesterday at Core Bike. Next up our some of the highlights from Hope tech.

The big news from Hope is the introduction of a brand new handlebar. Here they are modelled on a rather swanky Hope'd up Santa Cruz V10c... More on that further down the page!

The Hope Techbar is available in 800mm width and 10, 20 and 30mm Rise's. It's aimed at predominately Downhill riders but at 290g it will definitely still work on an aggressive trail bike.

The bars come with 5° of upsweep and 7° of backsweep and even handy markings to help you set your brake lever positioning up spot on every time... Sadly they are not going to be manufactured in the UK to keep costs down. At £60 we think Hope are right on the money with this new bar and will be available in the very near future!

Check out Ian Weatherill's Santa Cruz V10c... Being a co-founder of Hope does have it's perks!

Who needs 11 speed when you could run 6. Hope have pulled this purpose built cut down cassete out of the bag to finally stop downhill riders smashing soft road cassettes to pieces!

The other new kit on show from Hope was the introduction of the lock on grip that has the locking collars concealed under the grip to give end to end rubber. They also are available with colour co-ordinated anodised Hope end caps for added bling! At 25 smackers they are also competitively priced against the likes of Renthal!

We are always a sucker for these full Hope bikes. Some of the most bling bits at the entire show.

I'll admit to being a sucker for hope stuff and I like them grips. Getting ready for a new set for my enduro and these look like strong contenders for my cash.
