The Creek Trails network contains around 15 kilometres of great rolling single track in the native forest beside the town of Margaret River and has always been a favourite for the Mountain Biking community.
Majority of the trails are blue classification with a couple of challenging black trails with rock gardens. Creek Trails are situated in picturesque natural bushland, dotted with intermittent granite outcrops and plunging creek lines and are a real treat for the intermediate to advanced rider. Some of the favourite trails the locals have been trying to keep to themselves are Classic Creek, Goobers Pool, Valley Girls, the gnarly Western Suburbs, Trail of Discontent, Bride’s nightie, Bumper Cars and Bull Ant to give some a name. Recent trail re-alignments have allowed the trails to remain ridable all year round now and recent upgrades have seen an increase in technical trail features such as doubles, log rides and bridges. MRORCA club rides frequent this area so be sure to tag onto one of these for a great introduction to this local favourite.
Majority of the trails are single trail with technical features throughout so these trails are for the more advanced riders, although all features are roll-able and B-Lines in place for log rides. Riders should have good bike skills and possess a reasonable level of fitness to tackle the steep climbs and rough terrain.
