Whinlatter Forest Mountain Bike Trail Centre located in the Lake District near Keswick is home to two fantastic cross country mountain bike trails offering stunning views and a great single track trails which rises to 500m (1600ft) above Keswick and the northern lakes.
With the 19km Red graded Altura trail and the shorter Quercus trail that is graded blue, the trail centre has something for mountain bikers of varying skill levels.

Last week saw the opening of a new 10km mountain bike trail around Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District. The trail is called the Gorse Cycle Trail.
