"A varied mix of surfaces and obsticles. A great red route to start you off."

The Kitchener Mountain Bike Trail is named after Lord Kitchener the famous General of WW1.
The flowing and twisty trail links up the wider forest and a large number of wild trails. At 13km long it is fast and a challenge to ride at differing times of the year. Some sections are due for upgrade as funds and felling programmes allow.
If you want to get involved in one of our many Dig Days please get in touch with the District Office. The trail is graded red and is a great introduction to singletrack for riders wanting to progress into off road cycling.
