Mountain View Bike Park

Mountain View Bike Park is set in 80 acres of glorious countryside with a purpose built visitor centre, cafe and on-site parking.

The Bike Park has been created by a dedicated team of passionate riders who want bring the outdoor adventure and stimulation of mountain trails and skills tracks within easy reach of Wales' capital city.

Phase One - Now Open

The Tiger Trail is a flowing 1km green/blue trail with berms, rollers, switchbacks and north shore options ideal for a range of abilities from total beginners taking it slowly to more confident riders looking to progress their skills and bike handling at greater speeds.

Our skills area has TWO pump tracks and TWO jump lines! The ”NEWT“ is smaller/beginner tarmac pump track perfect for kids and beginners to learn how to pump! ”State of Flow“ is a bigger, super smooth flowing tarmac pump track with lots of rollers and big berms meaning you can really ramp up the speed.. the only question is will you manual, jump or pump?!

”The Inbetweeners“ is a red jump line perfect for learning how to take off, clear and land those big jumps! You can roll over these jumps slowly to start with then build up the speed as your skill and confidence grows. If you’re already confident at jumping then our black jump line ”Fallout 4“ will appeal! Go bigger, faster, higher and practice those mid-air tricks!!!

Phase Two – ready August/September 2019

As well as opening our purpose built visitor center complete with café, bike shop and workshop we hope to have completed a single track blue trail and a longer faster flowing jump line!
