Whickham Thorns BMX Track

Whickham Thorns bmx track is a small track which hasn't seen any maintainance for a long time and is badly over grown with grass and weeds. The track has a couple of table top jumps, raised corners and a small whoops section. There is quite a decent run in from the start point into the first table but once past the whoops the track runs out of flow.
Well used by local youngsters the spot is more of a hangout for kids with bikes rather than a serious bmx track.

Just of to one side there is a small skate area which is pretty basic with a ramp at either end and a funbox in the middle.

There is a layby near the entrance to the track on Market Lane which is handy for parking.
