Silton Forest Downhill Track

New for 2010: I have been revamping the top 2 sections: A few new bits have been built, to make it more interesting around now there are very few trees remaining.

The bottom section has yet to be repaired. I only have so much time, please be patient!

There have been people recently in the last year or so building small unofficial jumps on and around the track, moving rocks and straightlining corners off. Please stick to the built route and don't change the track.

Trail Description:

Cross the fireroad and you lander into a berm which takes you across a rooty section which cuts left along the hill, it then crosses a wall and into a couple of flat turns, either go straight, off a drop onto the fireroad or go right over humps and a tight turn round a tree. After the road there are small drops & tight turns through the stumps and then round a berm and down the elevator drop. Again you have a choice here, go left down the off camber or right across a higher off camber route ending in rock steps. Cross the stream & pedal for either a hip jump or take the high line off a drop. Back across the stream into a bus stop before hitting two final berms and the finish double.
