Rocky Branch Park Mountain Bike Trails

Rocky Branch Park is a purpose-built trail network spanning the cities of Belmont and Cramerton, North Carolina. Developed through a partnership between the Rocky Branch Park Committee, Tarheel Trailblazers, the City of Belmont and the Town of Cramerton, the park offers a progressive riding experience alongside trails for hikers, runners and walkers.

Opened in phases from 2021, the trail system includes routes for a range of abilities, from beginner-friendly flow trails to more technical intermediate singletrack. The beginner-focused Canopy Trail features berms, rollers, jumps and optional natural features, while the Boulder, Euler's Way and Legacy trails introduce longer rides, steeper climbs and more demanding terrain. The Eagle loop on the Cramerton side provides another accessible option for riders looking to build confidence.

The park has three access points, with main trailheads located on Sacco Street in Belmont and Eagle Road in Cramerton. Linked by the Carolina Thread Trail, Rocky Branch Bike Park combines flowing singletrack, creek crossings and wooded scenery to create a fun destination for riders of all skill levels. Plans are also in place to expand the network with a dedicated advanced trail featuring rock gardens, boardwalks, berms, jumps and drops, completing the project's vision for a progressive mountain bike park.
