Station Mountain opened in November 2023 and is owned and managed by local rider Rhett Jones. It is a full-service, shuttle-supported bike park located approximately 15 minutes outside of Marble Falls, Texas. Station Mountain boasts 370 feet of elevation that descends down gradually graded terrain characteristic of the Texas Hill Country. Currently, there are 20 trails ranging from easy to double black diamond. It has the highest density of jump trails in the State of Texas. The trails include rollers, table tops, and gap jumps that range from entry-level to the largest public access jumps in Texas, including a 45-foot gap that concludes the trail "El Cinco." The park also includes various technical trails allowing riders to maneuver through the rugged Texas terrain. Further trail construction is ongoing with plans to open multiple additional trails in the Spring of 2024.
Transportation between the base area and the top of the mountain is provided continuously by two shuttle buses, each carrying up to 24 riders.
Amenities in the base area include a bike shop offering bike rentals, a snack shop serving tacos and snacks, and restroom facilities.
The base area also features a skills park containing a moderately sized step-up jump that can be practiced easily, as well as other jumps. Construction of an airbag landing zone and pump track is currently underway.
Station Mountain is Texas' newest bike park and an elite addition to the growing mountain bike scene in the Texas Hill Country region.
