Visited Wakerley woods this morning to find Forestry commission taking down all the signage for the Scartree trail. This is permanent. Apparently become unsafe and no budget to repair it.

Review:
I regularly ride Wakerley Woods, really enjoyable, pity its not longer. A loop takes roughly 15mins so not a long trail, but lots of berms which flow nicely and you can get good speed up. One switchback type climb, shame theres not downhill though. No facilities there at Wakerley, just a car park (which is free!), if you want a café go over the road to Fineshades where there are some more trails but these are more family orientated.
