Long, but the two decents are worth it

I have not ridden the Wall before so thought W2 sounded good. Whites level climb is amazing, love it (I am a mountain goat). Thought the link road was boring but an essential. Wall decent was good fun. If you dont want to stop at the original Afan centre take a left at the bottom of the final decent and save yourself 2 miles of pointless riding.
Climb back up the wall is a little boring but once you get to the woods its great.
Northshore near the end of Whites is great and the final decent is super.
Not sure where 4-7 hours came from as it took us just under 3 hours and we took our time. But take a camel bak with kit as you do get out in the wild with this one.

Summary:
Long climb, Means long descent

The Climb drags on a bit and is quite challenging in places. Once you've got to the top, it is so fun. The downhill is amazing. Its flowing and quick. Great cafe, and a great bikeshop and campsite as well.

Summary:
Really good rhythm and flow.

This was my first ever trail centre ride and I wasn't very experienced on single track at high speed. But I got to the bottom (minus a tool kit) with the biggest grin ever.
The first half, going up takes a while, but is worth it for the descent!
When you do need to brake here, you need to brake fast so I recommend getting some good stoppers on your rig. I had some cheap V brakes and my fingers were aching by the end of the day.
A great place to start getting hooked on single tracks.
