Summary:
Great addition to nearest high ground.

Review:
Makes climbing almost enjoyable, regular little treats for the hard work. Until the last downhill, do it pedal back up the fireroad and repeat.

Brilliant

Review:
Great switchback climbs to gain the required altitude before flowing downhill single tracks.
The design of the course is awesome and worth giving it a go!
Only down point is the state of the course with holes appearing due to the amount of traffic the trail has to cope with!
I've heard stories of the famous H&S getting involved with the railway crossing and also the last roller section is very dangerous even with the signage I’ve heard rumours / reports of broken legs and air ambulances attending numerous accidents (May be they need to be converted into table tops!)

Really enjoyable

Review:
Some annoying climbs, but some good climbs, some great downhill bits, and elevation available used brilliantly. Well done the builders. Already though there's annoying braking bumps that really shouldn't be in places they are. Stop braking xc people!!

Summary:
great trail

Review:
i have rode this trail twice in the last week, its about 60 miles from me & the fact i dont mind travelling is testament to the trail.
considering the amount of elevation the team have created some fantastic technical climbs with some brilliant narrow downhill sections with swithback's galore!
A few of the switchbacks though are developing ruts already & speaking to locals they said folk were riding it before it was finished.
Nevertheless i recommend riding it, great fun & i'll be back up there soon!

Summary:
Satisfying climbs and grin-inducing singletrack

Review:
Rode this trail on the opening weekend. It's a really fun extension to the follow the dog trail, adding another 8 miles onto the middle of the trail. You need to ride about half way round follow the dog to find it, but it's easily signed.

The vast majority of the trail is wooded singletrack, with a couple of nice views and a few fireroad sections, both up and downhill.

It includes a whole lot of climbs, featuring a large number of well made switchbacks.

The descents get better and better as you get further into the trail, the first ones had me doubting the new trails, but the final couple with berms and tables made me wish I could ride them again, if only I was fitter!

The trail feels like a real ride in the forest and is more technical than follow the dog all round. It'll be interesting to see how it weathers and whether any irritating breaking bumps develop.

In my opinion the trail crews and volunteers have done a top notch job and I'll certainly be riding this trail a few more times this year at least.
