Summary:
good single track
Review:
Have riden this trail a number of times and have seen plenty of crashes on the board walk with on of my mates actually going head first into it and loosing his prescription sunglasses so if you find any in an incedent as just descibed please post a response .
this trail is good free draining trail nearly all round so you dont get too bogged down some fantastic single track and easy enough to go round twice . dont go with wide hadle bars as you will get stuck in the woods !!!!! could do with a few more jumps and a little more shore style obstacles may be even a little rock garden would be great... love the trail though as descibed before it is short sweet and b*^%$! good fun

Loose Shale makes for a technical track
Review:
The black run makes the most of the limited elevation of the area. The ground has a high content of pebbles that have worked to the surface of the trail making it loose and technical to ride. There are some jumps although only the last road gap is a biggy and some bits of north shore sections. All in all i had a fun day riding the trail and the tech surface helped to improve my cornering. Well worth a look.

Fun flowing trail
Review:
The follow the dog route is a fun trail with some spectacular scenery from the ridge tops. Although some parts are sign posted as technical there is nothing that cant be done slowly if you have ridden a bike for a while. The bike shop on site has some great staff that can give trail advice and directions should you need it. Thanks Lads.
There are a few leg burner climbs but thankfully they are short which makes the decents all the more worth it. The single track through the wooded sections is very tight and great fun to ride with many switch backs and tree gaps not much wider than your handle bars. Take care with the surface though as the loose pebble which makes up most of the tracks can result in an unwanted slide and can sometimes make the climbs difficult but great for improving your technical riding.
A Good fun day out.

good beginners trail

the track has a few small jumps and drops which speed can be picked up easily,in the dry weather this trail can be quite slippy with some loose stones on the track.
