Good Trail
Review:
Not a bad trail to ride with lots of technical sections in amongst all the masses of pushes but the trails do need to be maintained alot more than they are.

Very Poor
Review:
When you can actually have a go in amongst all the brats pedalling into everything in their granny rings it is still very disappointing and there is no way it can be classed as a 4X track!!

It kicks ass!
Review:
Bike choice is a major factor on this trail. A beefed up hardtail or mid-travel full sus would be better than the 50lb dh bike that I took... It was worth hiking up some of the steeper climbs just for the switchback laden descents that followed-and yes, the north shore sections are well made too. My only criticism would be that I couldn't find the DOA downhill and hence better signposting to go with the maps would be nice.

Suprised at the enjoyment
Review:
Living on the edge of the north york moors i have never really needed to load up the car and set off looking for trails, why? its on my doorstep! But this time i did and i was suprised at how much i enjoyed it and i will be going back without a doubt. The sections i found that the sections were about right in length, especially when riding with a mixed ability group, they give you chance to regroup and make sure tail end charlie is still with you. some of the switchbacks are a little servere and change from downhill to up hill which can take you a little by suprise not allowing you to get into the right gear but getting to know the trail will help in this, we did get lost at one point as the orange markers looked too red in one area making us go round in circles. Some of the newer parts of the track did seem a little too man made and plasticy but as i said i'm used to finding my own way over the moors so it might just be me. A half way point shelter of some discription might be a good idea, its not nice having the wind blowing trough your sweaty clothes or the rain bouncing off your lid while trying to get a drink and a few energy bars down your neck, but on the whole "a grand day out gromit"

Not sure what happened!!!!!
Review:
Far too much pedalling on the 4x and very little flow.Feels like it is mostly up hill!!!
North shore lethal in the wet, and some of the skinny drop offs are unsupported and can lead to nasty nose dives when trying to pull up off the end. (Pulling up overloads the long log and catapults your back end up on departure.) Seen quite a few accidents on this check out Youtube.
Lots of potential but sadly missed.
