Excellent. Long and very hard work but so worth it.

I so want give this trail a 10 but there are some poorly thought out rocky sections which will really frustrate. If you can handle long up hill stretches one after another with very little chance to get your breath back then this is for you. This is propper cross country endurance. The end section is the stuff of dreams but you'll need to do it a few times before you can really feel confindent to fly off the rocky steps and huge blind jumps. The fact that the decsent is so long and crazy makes the difference and pushes my rating up to a 9 rather than a could do better 8. One last thing. Considering the car park is £2 for the day you'd expect there to be toilets and plenty of rubbish bins but I didn't spot any. Shame.

Great Day Ride
Review:
Innerleithen is great under-rated centre. Its epic mountain biking, you rid all the way up to the sumit in Minch Moor, then head down the otherside, theres no up n down up n down, just plain and simple, one trail up and one back down. Along the way there numerous features to keep you on the edge of your sadle, drop offs, bomb holes, technical climbs. The end of the trail finishes on Red Bull's Caddon Bank, which is worldclass. It is a fairly hard route and I would recommend you only try it if you feel confident to do so, because theres limited escape routes.
