Short & sweet and rock hard (literally)

This is a super technical course, of which some of the black route is Kamikazee style!! You will really learn some skills here, even if it is how to land when you come off.
You will need to combine a few different trails with this in order to break a sweat. Not bad for a one off.

Fantastic XC descent!
Review:
I must have ridden the decent line about 30 times now and it's still as much fun as the first time if not better. You've just got to go for it hell for leather and pedal hard in a couple of places! There's a big boulder drop about half way down that's not bad if you roll it but still haven't got the guts to jump it. 2 mins 28 is the fastest that any one in our group has done it. I agree it's not a DH course but there is a few downhill runs in the Norwood side across the road.

Summary:
A bit of relief from the slow speed techy stuff
Review:
Unfortunatley, when it was finished, people on the internet started refering to this as the Downhill Line. Downhillers are turning up expecting a downhill track, which it isn't and was never intended as. It's an XC rocky descent line not a downhill line. All of Stainburn, including the Descent Line is techy XC.

Summary:
not the best descent for serious dh ers
Review:
i only find one feature thats half ok to ride here and thats the boulder that everyone rolls but you can launch it even with the crap run in, the berms and everything else are just to harder work on a full on dh bike and it doesnt flow very well as a track, still its worth going for an afternoon just to check out whats new, you never know they might get it right some day
