Well maintained trail with boardwalks, tecnical single track in the woods, hill climbs and even abit of downhill. Wonderfull views in a lovely forest and with a dedicated cafe, bike shop & bike wash at the car park. Theres plenty of tracks off"follow the dog" made by the locals so keep yer eyes open!! Also 2 heavy downhill trails round the corner.

Went over to Cannock today whilst enjoying the splendid weather. Managed two laps of Follow the Dog before the heat got the better of me.
I enjoyed the trails on the route and there are some nice flowy sections dotted along the route. A couple of sections were closed for work.
Hopefully they will put some more obstacles on the route as a there is definitely scope and it could do with a few more sections to break it up a bit.
I would go again but only with a group as there is not much of a challenge on your own.

Good Fun Trail
Review:
Very popular trail, very busy at weekends but as I aint got anyone to go with (all my mates cant get passed the pub) chat to some of the other lads "and lasses" on the trail all seem very friendly, as well as the staff in the bike shop at start of trail.
Like the layout of the trail some fast sections and a few leg burnin hills, for my pigeon legs anyway!! Would like to see a few more technical sections on the trail but after riding it today saw theres some building going on so you never know!!

New section superb
Review:
Just come back from doing FYD and I would like to compliment the builders of the new section (at the end of the fire road climb). Not only does it cut out a large part of a previously boring climb but it contains some great single track, brilliant, but still easy jumps, sweeping turns and lung bursting but fun uphill. Again congrats to the builders, definitely the best section of the track.

good single track
Review:
Have riden this trail a number of times and have seen plenty of crashes on the board walk with on of my mates actually going head first into it and loosing his prescription sunglasses so if you find any in an incedent as just descibed please post a response .
this trail is good free draining trail nearly all round so you dont get too bogged down some fantastic single track and easy enough to go round twice . dont go with wide hadle bars as you will get stuck in the woods !!!!! could do with a few more jumps and a little more shore style obstacles may be even a little rock garden would be great... love the trail though as descibed before it is short sweet and b*^%$! good fun
