Interesting place, the far end with the ponds and big cliffs looks impressive. They appear to have tried to incorporate every type of riding possible here, theres the cross country loop which is quite good even for a downhiller but very short (4k). Theres a bmx pump track which seemed popular, loads of amazing trials areas with natural and man made structures, a skills area with skinnys (basic and not elevated)and three very short downhill sections. There are a few jumps but they are not great. As they have done everything nothing initself is amazing but if your into more than one dicipline its well worth a day out, the rocky track down from the cliff to the ponds is intimidating the first time down due to the steep drop on one side and the skinny at the end has a very steep approach.

the new developments are great, there really is something for everyone, huge berms, savage rock gardens, pump tracks, skinnies ect. It really is great, the sections flow well whether ridden flat out or at a leisurely pace. when you get there, make sure you get all the way up, there's quite a lot of riding that's easy to miss. still a lot of space between trails, perfect hardtail riding.

There's definitely something for every rider here at the Quarry no matter what you ride. You can mix it up and have a varied day out.
Loving the new section in the middle of the quarry, some techie climbs up to the top then a choice routes to fast berms and sweet downs!
If only there were more places to hide when I need a wee! :o)

i really enjoyed this trail.
there is lots to do with a nice downhill section at the end and lots of technical stuff all through.
my only complaint is that its so short but the srrounding area has miles of stuff to ride with brilliant scenery if your willing to get your map out.
i would reccomend knee and elbow pads at a minimum there is big potential for falling off as its so rocky being a quarry. i have only rated 8 because of the length if it was made bigger and linked into a bigger route it would be a 9.
