Went up on tuesday with a friend, very good fun although i'm just starting out on DH biking so some of the jumps on the red route were a little challenging for me. Little hard to find, the map on here is slightly out. We found easiest way is to park at the bridge next to Anglezarke Reservoir and cycle up. Look out for heapey fold lane on the right as you cycle up, there is a house on it and a sign saying no cars, no you cant get a car up there despite sat nav trying to direct you up there. Go up the bridleway till you reach nab hill, probably about another 100 yards further up on the left theres a rocky path that goes up hill, that takes you up to healey nab

Good place to up your skills.
Review:
We ride up from Preston to Rivington Pike via several off road routes including Cuerden Park and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal. On the way back we detour to Healey Nab to round off the ride with some challenging (to me) DH and techy sections. The people who built the runs at Healey Nab deserve massive thanks from all MTB fans because of the immense effort required to do the job.

Summary:
Good short local loop
Review:
This is now nearly a complete loop (red) with black sections/options. The red has had route has now had a large increase in length and the black runs are pretty much finished. Not a huge place but good for a couple of hours sessioning or a couple of runs round the red loop. Black is a nice fast black xc/light dh. Would reccommend if your local or doing a ride up rivi as its really the only bike specific trail in the area (for the time being - watch this space). Best in the dry as its much faster but generally a good fun route for most abilities with some technical challenges to build skills and improove speed. Anyone want a run up just give me a shout (I have been involved in the building and live about 5 mins away).
