The trail starts with a very long uphill slog on fire roads which sadly detracts from the whole experience. The down hill is very good but it's an effort to get there.

Review:
Did the Wall trail on Sunday 4 Jul 10. What a trail. The climb is a bit of a slog but you a rewarded with some smashim singletrack decent, espicailly the final decent. The route however gets a bit slippery afetr a bit of rain as it did on sunday, but overall a great day out. The route was shortened on sunday as there had been a landslip so was only 17km long, but all the same a great ride.

Liked this, I hate single track climbs, I just want them to be easy, so the fact that most of the climbs on this one were on fire roads went down well.

Lovely fast descents down the side of the valley, very good fun. I did the White's level trail at the same centre the next day, this was better in my opinion, however I did do it at 8'ok clock at night, so literally had the run of the forest.

This trail would of been a 10 if it wasnt due to the vast amounts fireroads.. they just become a depressing slogg.

The downhill section especially the last decent is very free flowing which was excellent but if felt it lacked more drops or kickers.

All in all good route which would of been rated higher if it wasnt for the fire roads

nice trail dam ffoerst road climbs! grave yard rather technical. used to be a good challenge to get through with out putting foot down. cracked now. Lovely final down hill section. flowy and fast. not so many jumps around the trail tho.
