Summary:
Really good rhythm and flow.

This was my first ever trail centre ride and I wasn't very experienced on single track at high speed. But I got to the bottom (minus a tool kit) with the biggest grin ever.
The first half, going up takes a while, but is worth it for the descent!
When you do need to brake here, you need to brake fast so I recommend getting some good stoppers on your rig. I had some cheap V brakes and my fingers were aching by the end of the day.
A great place to start getting hooked on single tracks.

You've Just Got To Do It
Review:
Admittedly the fire road clime is a bit of a boring ball grind but go with mates and chat till you get to the top. Once at the top IT’S ALL GOOD! Probably the best ride I’ve ever had.
If you can’t be bothered with the climb go to cwmcarn and use the up lift service, but you’ll miss out on a top ride.

Not what we were expecting.
Review:
After reading the reviews in the usual bike mags, we had some high hopes for the trail and were just dissapointed. I appreciate the need for the styles but they ruin all flow you may have gained, the fireroad climbs take the pain away as you can still talk to your mates but they are at best uninspiring and the final decent was over before you knew it. If you are riding the trail just for the decent, don't get your hopes up at all and ride down to Tesco's - You'll be less let down.
