some great bits, well worth a visit
Review:
Went today after a 2yr gap and found a lot of trees have been felled which is a shame as it kind of ruins the atmposphere in places. Considering this is a black route it is nowhere near as challenging as other trails around the country. There are no parts where your bottle is tested as with many other venues. Some parts are very fast and flowing and there are many opportunities for getting air so it is still good but the second half of the route loses some of the flow. I personally prefer the fast flowing nature of the Blue route at this venue and would choose to do that combined with the red rather than the black. Don't forget the freeride area too at the end, short but worth a run or two!

Overrated
Review:
Left here feeling short changed.
Good Parts: Big Car Park, Skills areas and the Black parts are ok if a little short, seems well maintained.
Bad Parts: £4.50 for parking!!!(Everywhere is cashing in on parking charges now it would seem, initially brought in to help maintain car parks, just appear to be getting greedy). The Trail in a nut shell is boring. The start is a 2-3 mile ride on a open gravel flat road and can hardly be classed as part of the trail. The layout and flow is appalling, the designers seem to make you go down hill for no apparent reason(Not fun and no technical descents), then you have to go back up hill feeling 'What was the point of that'. Also, the Cafe seemed a little over priced, can't comment on the food quality, due to the kithcen shutting at 4pm???
Not sure why the hype with this place, felt far to Commercialised and the ride was not worth the trip. Save your energy and go do the MBR trail over NW Wales.

Love the degs
Review:
This is my local ride and I love it. There is plenty of options with all the new stuff and best of all in the summer we can ride up to add the extra miles. There is even the option of cutting out of degs near the top to go round the mast's and coming back in through the duck boards. Once you know the tracks and the fire roads you can mix it up so your not riding the same track week in week out. There a lots of super fast sections and even the blue trail can enjoyable. Those final climbs on the new red section which links back to the centre can leave you blowing the only problem with this is there are to many pushing. Its all worth it for he final single track back to the centre. If you want a tech fest's then i don't think degs is for you but if you love flowing downhill sections the this is the place to visit.

New 6000 metres of riding

Well done to Llandegla for their new Black/red section. Fast and Furious, the faster you go the hairier it is. In the Summer when dry it will be even faster. It makes Llandegla a fun experience, not technical but it has its momements.
Keep it up, the next section to sort is the first 25 minute climb. I wonder if they can get hold of that old quarry?
For fun I am increasing Llandegla to 8.5
