Red or black

I went this weekend and found the whole set up excellent. Plenty of markers to pin point your location in case of injuries or accidents. New trails being done as we speak. Easy routes to very hard routes, you choose. Great cafe at bottom, and the cheese on toast is to die for.

First time I’ve been here and will definitely be returning in the very near future, I have only ridden a few trail centers previously and this one is the best by far.
Its only 1 ¼ hour’s drive which is a bonus and the facilities are very good with clean toilets. We arrived at around 11 o’clock and were charged £2.50 for parking which was reasonable. It was very busy on the car park but once we were on the trail it wasn’t too bad, this is obviously because it’s such a good trail.
The trail starts with a steady climbs to get you warmed up and after that it was excellent. The trail is really well signed and maintained. At this centre it seems you get a lot of downhill sections in comparison to the boring uphill slog which equals more smiles and less sweat. The downhill sections are well thought out and free flowing with option to avoid the tricky areas if you want. The majority of the uphill sections seem to take you through woods and avoid the boring fire roads where possible which helps to take your mind off it.
This place has a bit of everything to suit everybody and am very impressed, you realize as you progress along the trail that there will be nothing to unexpected to cause you any problems, if you get into any hairy situations they will probably be self inflicted. I think this place is better than Coed y Brenin, my previous favorite.
There were a couple of people not taking the safety signs seriously and ended up paying the price, at one point there was a guy trying to send his young daughter down quite a steep section on a bike bought from Toys R Us, madness.
As you near the end you are tormented with a new section under construction, if you like the trail centers you need to give this one a go, can’t wait to go back, highly recommended.

I have been on a few trails now and this one is by far the best, the downhills really are breathtaking some say its not long enough but if do the hole run with no stops trust me its hard work. you can go downhill as fast as you want depending on how big your balls are! fast flowing track and they our currently upgrading it to.

Good for a quick blast.
Review:
I like this trail as it has a little bit of everything.
Downhills are not hugely challenging but are good fun when ridden flat out, little drop shore section is fun again if ridden flat out.
Went the other day and it looks as though they are doing a lot of work on some new sections.
Try and avoid weekends otherwise you will definately not get any clear runs at downhills or jump sections.
