Summary:
Impecably designed, super smooth trail suitable for all abilities.
Review:
We stopped off at Llandegla on the way to a biking week in Snowdonia (Penmachno, Marin, Coed-Y-brenin, 3 Machs)from Leeds and this trail proved perfect as a warm up for what was to come.
Firstly, the facilities are exellent! The visitor centre cafe served top, post ride grub and coffee in a nice environment with current trail info displayed on good visual boards. The bike shop stocked everything you need from spares to full on bespoke YETI builds! I had a peek in at the classroom which had video projectors which the classes used to analyse individual training needs and technique improvement. 10/10 for all that.
Our group was of mixed ability, the beauty of this trail is that everything is ridable given a basic level of skill. Even in the additional black runs all jumps could be rolled if you didn't fancy taking them on.
The overall design of the trail (red and black) was well thought out with the first 4Kms following the blue route which got you warmed up and allowed you to take in the scenary.
After this, the biggest bobsleigh berms soon appeared which left a huge grin on your face as the whole trail came to life. Good jump sections, top berms and neat north shore(ish) sections made from logs (not planks)which added to the interest.
The only things lacking were rocky, technical sections with drop offs etc, but you don't finish the trail feeling as though you've missed out on anything.
In summary, a great trail where the skill of the individual determines the difficulty of the trail which makes it perfect for all abilities to ride and continually improve on - the locals are so lucky!!

Summary:
Good but take a hardtail
Review:
This is a great place to take anybody who is learning to ride, because it has various track difficulties, that incurage you to ride more and more all the way round. The tracks have a lot off good manmade features and it is clear that they have put a lot of effort into it.
Problems are
1. The clime at the start. Athough easy, it goes allmost half way round before you get to anything more challenging to ride than over a couple of rocks at climing speed.
2. This seemed to be very smooth all the way round. No need for full suss.
3. Any more than a 100mm hardtail is a waste and just slows you down.
4. The bottom of the hill is 3/4 of the way round meening you clime to the finish which seems dissapointing.
5. Downhills seem to end to quick
6. This track is used by a lot of people and if you can ride at all you ae bound to come up behind a 30 strong group.
Good points
1. Lot of building lots of jumps
2. Bring your family friends and if they can't ride the blak trail there is plenty more to do.
3. Good to learn on.
4. Encouraging and exciting for anyone who has just started riding this stuff.
5. You are bound to come up behind a group of about 30 people and overtaking can be fun on the singetrack.
In general a good track but just but just diddn't seem to flow.

Summary:
Too Slow, jumps like molehills, perfect for beginers
Review:
The black decent not fast enough, doesnt flow that well to keep the speed up. The jump section is a joke, jumps about a foot high. Wouldn't even rate it as a red never mind a black..
Saying that I've been there in pouring rain, still rides ok, very well built just bit tame, great for beginers...
