Some nice singletrack ...

Review:
Some nice singletrack ... and quite technical in places. Quite a short trail that won't challenge most riders. Good day out though and worth a visit. First climb quite difficult but that's the hardest climb of the trail so you can relax after you've cracked that. Only criticisms are that it was quite hard to find it in the first place. Also, the toilets were even harder to find! (Portaloo's situated in top car park).

Summary:
Top trail....Has a few tricky sections in the wet (steep descents on smooth stone)

Review:
Very enjoyable trail. It has a good mixture of terrain types and is well laid out. The faster you ride the single track the more flowy it becomes. It needs to be attacked to get the most out of it. The three final downhill sections are the jewel in the crown, and if you have the energy you can go back up and do them again.

Review:
I rode this trail not long after the bank holiday weekend and since I was new to the scene I didnt really know what to expect. What I got was an uncomfortable ride that seemed to last forever. At no point is the height gained on the mammoth first climb maintained and seems to be lost for know good reason. While some people argue that most of the climbs are on the fire roads (which i agree is good) the height is never carried and a it really doesnt flow. Alot of the trails furthest out are rutted to the point were there are just bare rock creating berms. The only saving grace are the last three sections back to the car park which include some doubles and some fast singletrack with a nice step up round a tree. If you are in the area then this is worth a look though i suggest using the fireroads out of the back of the top car park to access the latter sections of the run rather than wasting time on the rest.
