Summary:
No Jumps!!! :(
Review:
It is a great xc route that flows very nicely and gives you the impression its all downhill by using clever contouring, however it does not have ANY jumps or drops if thats what your looking for.

ok fun technical singletrack
Review:
An hour down the road from us in dorset , good tight and fun technical singletrack.
Tight trail makes you think and a good balance of descents and short sharp climbs , well signposted and well maintained

Summary:
dull and non technical
Review:
To those knocking it as an XC trail, well it's not even that. Well maybe a beginner XC trail for those who like riding tow paths.
Not even that. Tow paths often have the odd tree root. This has nothing!
If this was a technical XC it would have roots and rocks to climb. XC can have things to go over too, not just DH, but this isn't either of them.
I got to ride what remained of the Freer before it went. It wasn't all that great even then but it had a few bits of challenge. Now there's nothing.
Sadly the fear of the injury lawyers means this occurs more and more.

flowing singletrack! Better than Ashton court.

As Silveringsurfer said.
Good fun will definetly be back. Singletrack more singletrack with a little singletrack thrown in to make it more intresting.
Hardtail ragging I only stopped now and again to let my wife catch up, and she barley stipped on the 1st half with me virtually sprinting sections.
Mind out for walkers at the start of the trail as it's mixed use and they tend to be a bit grumpy with bikers whistling by!
