Great place to start MTB

Well this is the first place where the wife and I tried out new bikes and I have to say there is a great deal of variety here for all levels of riders.
There is indeed a restuarant and toilets + a little shop and bike hire place & GO Ape. The only problem with Swinley is that if you go on days when school holidays are in full swing, you'll be overwhelmed with lots of kids and families cycling around.

Great for everyone

This place is massive, I recently spent most of a day here and barely scratched the surface of whats there. Theres some good flowing DH trails and some good areas for some sessions. Go with someone who knows the trails otherwise you may not find the good stuff!

been going here for years and there is some good stuff if you know where to look - on the downside it has been getting busier over the years to the point now that we keep running into families on the advanced sections .........

Awsome once you know where everything is!!

Is perfect for the mere beginner to the most advanced. I have to agree with peoples comments about it being none local friendly by the lack sign posts etc.. but over all the site is a lot of fun and a good day can be made of it. The site is very well maintained and all the locals are really friendly.

Really good little single track sections, including some great flowing sections and some technical sections. Could do with better sign posting, but the 4 times i went the locals have been really helpfull giving advise about where to get the best bits. Thanks for showing me the run with all the berms and little jumps. really great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
