Amazing trail
Review:
Lots of very challenging uphill but worth it for the downhill. Lower cliff and Upper Cliff near the end are amazing descents which will challenge your abilities.

Amazing descents, steep climbs
Review:
A full day at Cannock Chase they said, ride the Monkey trail they said, as well as finish the loop of follow the dog! My legs knew I'd done the additional climbs but the descents are worth it. Not something I'd do every visit but worth the additional ride.

Awesome trail full of variety

The red route is a true red, with challenging terrains, big drops and technical features that test you just enough without being too difficult so they do not lose the fun factor.

Summary:
great trail with variety
Review:
A good trail with quite a few ups and good down sections. there are a few switch back climbs and very good down hill sections, the best being lower cliff towards the end of the trail. The trail has a good variety of obstacles etc with rock gardens, switch backs and board walks etc. If you have been to hopton wood or Llandegla to name a couple, you will probably find the trail flat in comparison, if your the type of rider that likes to climb hills and wants long fast down sections. But overall a good trail that gets the heart pumping.
