VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Nov. 16, 2016 Direct 2 Guests announced today the launch of the newest version of the Guest Connect platform that now allows its software to be used directly through the Hotel's in-room television screen.
“We have been involved in very intensive development work in the past few months and are very excited at this most recent innovation. We had to overcome several challenging technological issues that no group that we are aware has ever attempted before.” Said Sean Lazenby, CEO of Direct2Guests Services Ltd.
Up to this point, the Guest Connect software has been exclusively viewed through tablets placed in hotel rooms. This new development allows guests to either watch television or explore the Guest Connect platform through the hotel's television.
The Guest Connect platform replaces paper menus and information sheets that are traditionally placed in rooms and allows for direct messaging communication between the guest and hotel staff.
