Discovering The French and France in English
If you've just decided to learn French, or you've just been relocated to France, or if you're just really super curious about the most touristic city in the World (Paris of course) – and are looking fo content in English (and not in French) – then French.org is probably one channel that you'd want to visit.
France is a beautiful country, with an amazingly rich history and culture, and delicious food, but one thing that everyone complains about is, the language. Don't get me wrong, it's one of the most beautiful languages on the planet, of course it is! But why can't the French speak English too? Yeah, that's what most people complain about, and that's why we decided to build French.org.
So what do we do? We gather and produce various content about France, which might be of use and interest to our international readers. For example, we had a lot of expats writing to us about the quite complex banking system in France, which consists of several hundreds of French banks and international banking groups.
To better understand the French banking system, we always recommend to start with understanding the French culture and business environment, which is not the typical western-European economy. Ever since they got their independence, the French strived to be different, and they are definitely unique in many different aspects.
So back to the expats who demanded some info in English about the French Banking system, we took them on and created a super nicely organized directory with all the info you'll ever need about French Banks.
