The trails they grew up riding and the spiritual home of the series, Cannock Chase is back as the season opener for 2015. Top notch off-piste singletrack with a deceptive amount of height gain to really test your winter training. If you have any energy left, the award winning Forestry Commission waymarked trails start nearby. Cross-Country XCO races are held over multiple laps of an undulating circuit and have evolved massively in recent years: Races are shorter and more intense, with power and technical skill now as important as fitness to be successful. Expect everything from blazing fast descents and elevated boardwalk, to technical singletrack and lung searing climbs, giving everyone the chance to shine.
