The route steps up the technical challenges – expect tough, technical downhills and single tracks. All of our event routes this year have been designed by Red Kite Events' Neil (ex national downhiller and trials rider) so expect to be challenged. The route will be using a mixture of the trail centre tracks, open moorland trails, and single and double tracks in the Irfon Valley and Crychan Forest area. This is big country riding (big hills, remote, possible harsh weather) so come prepared for what ever Mid Wales may through at us in early January. The route will be designed around the weather.
As usual with our events the route will be very well marked, and we will also have some bail out options to cut the route short if you need. The event will be a mass start at 10:30am from Llanwrtyd Wells.
