Beginning in the rural setting of Duchy college, Stoke Climsland, the Cornwall Mountain Bike event is a first for UK Cycling Events. We've created two superb routes to take you on a picturesque, and not to mention hilly, trail route through beautiful bridleways, forests and rivers of the lower Tamar Valley.
Bypassing the quaint villages of Luckett and Latchley, the route meanders its way over the river Tamar and up into the Tamar Trails Centre for a well earned first feed stop.
Depending on your route selection, Epic riders venture south for a cheeky, and indeed, challenging loop around the stunning area of Maddacleave Wood, before re-joining the standard route. While the Epic riders are busy with that, the Standard route will take riders through the delights of Blanchdown Wood, before making its way back in the direction of Duchy College.
As with all UKCE events, when you arrive back at base you'll be greeted with a welcoming pat on the back, a t-shirt and a finishers medal.
This Event definitely has something for everybody, from some fairly technical descents early on, fabulous trail ways and some rather lung-busting climbs in a magnificent part of the country.
