Come and join us for one of the Hopetech Women rides. Since March 2016 the rides have developed a loyal following attracting anywhere between 35-45 riders at most rides.
At the Gisburn Forest rides we meet at the main Gisburn Forest car park at the hub. Directions can be found here.
We tend to meet at 6pm and aim to set off riding around 6.30pm. We tend to ride for around 1.5hours and there is always plenty of tea and cake afterwards. Riders of all abilities are welcome. We split up into 2-3 riding groups (depending on numbers on the night).
One group will always be a beginner group. This group will ride at a sociable pace, aimed to help beginners and intermediate riders develop confidence. At Gisburn Forest this group tends to ride the blue route.
The second and third groups will generally ride the red route at different paces. The majority of this ride will be on technical singletrack climbs and descents.
We always have demo bikes available for hire on the night, including:
Juliana Furtado - small
Juliana Roubion - small and medium
Santa Cruz Bronson - small, medium, large
Orange Four - small, medium
Specialized Rhyme - XS and small
Email [email protected] to book a bike for demo and/or a spot on the ride.
