Reviewed recently as one of the best cross country mountain bike rides in the UK, this brutal 42 mile mtb challenge will push you to your limits and beyond. Less than 50% of riders completed the full route in 2016. Set in the wonderful Cheviot hills of Northumberland National Park you won't set a wheel treah on any man made trails, instead it's all about natural features. Free camping is available so bring your family and friends.
This is a low key event with a friendly atmosphere and you'll find like minded souls to keep you motivated. The route is fully marked and you'll be supportted by checkpoints, medical team, food/water and oodles of encouragement. At the end you will have earned your event hat while you pop into Valley Cottage Cafe to refuel.
For all your Strava lovers the route is lined with segments for KOM chasers. See how you get on against other riders.
