The Surrey 14 hour Adventure Race with Tri-Adventure is back for 2018!
The Start is at 10pm on the Saturday, and you finish at 12:00 noon on Sunday.
Location is Bentley Copse, Hound House Road, Guildford GU5 9JH.
Race through the night to finish with a social gathering for brunch the following morning. This works out to be 6 hours racing in the dark, with the second half in the light.
Disciplines include trail running, mountain biking, navigation and micro navigation, and stand up paddle boarding, covering a maximum distance of 140k. The total distance is flexible to suit people's abilities. A greater distance covered, in theory, should culminate in more points.
There will be a journey element to this score based event. Collect as many checkpoints as you can between transitions. Transitions will keep the field close together with allocated opening and closing times. The winners will have collected the most number of points over the 14 hours. This event is suitable for all abilities who don't mind running and mountain biking in darkness.
