The infamous “swinduro” is back for 2018 to hold a laid back enduro that captures some amazing riding for the first timer right through to the seasoned pinner. Swinley Forest holds some of the finest all weather mountain biking trails in the South East of England; just 1 hour from Central London.

Swinduro’18 in its 3rd year now introduces 2 new cycling events to the mix – including a kids 3 stage, 5km enduro and the gravelduro; a 30km gravel sportive with 3 timed special stages en route.

The Swinduro spirit is for every rider to have a great day of riding a stunning forest loop, set in an amazing location and enjoying the MTB Basecamp. Basecamp will have a BBQ, some craft ales, a prosecco bar providing some post event hydration, coffee stalls all wrapped up and supported by our mainline supporters including Red Bull, Fox Head Clothing, Dakine Clothing, Stans No Tubes, Muc Off, Goodyear Tyres and the full 2019 range of Marin Bikes.

To make this an extra special event, as part of the event entry fee riders will get:

• Enduro - A choice of loops – a 20km loop with 8 special stages and a 25km loop with 10 special stages
• Gravel – A 30km 100% off road sportive with drop bars in mind including 3 special timed stages
• A pump track at Basecamp for post event spot prizes
• A spontaneous drop bar wheelie comp – be prepared it could happen at any time…with spot prizes
• Stans No Tubes providing free tubeless conversions for Swinduro event riders
• 50% off parking for the weekend if purchased with ticket entry

The swinduro event has a course designed that will allow first timers to the pinners to come, ride and enjoy the day out. The course will be challenging for all levels of skill and experience. During the event we will also be hosting 2 inaugral events for Swinley

The inaugural “Mini Shredders” Championships – this is a 5km, 3 stages only enduro style event for riders up to the age of 12 – we want to see as many shredders as possible on the day! The Mini Shredders Champs will take place close to base camp, and allow for spectators to watch the event at close quarters.

The inaugural “gravelduro” a 30km relaxed gravel sportive around Swinley Forest with 3 Special Timed Stages…..the question is will the timed stages be flat out burns, hill climbs or gravity assisted….or maybe all 3.
